Focus Experiential and Focus IMC were awarded the opportunity to work with Savills at the Sebastian Court development. Focus IMC were involved with the exterior signage design and install, while Focus Experiential interior designed and dressed the show apartment. We wanted to bring Sebastian Court’s colour palette into the interior of the show apartment to create a seamless customer journey both inside and outside, whilst ensuring the branding of the development became a memorable part of the interior design. Deep yellow and teal tones with the touch of mint were the chosen colours for the wall and styling which created the effective result we wanted to achieve.
In the main bedroom we used a ¾ effect mint colour painted wall as a feature. It highlighted the cool headboard and made an effective look all together with the rest of the furniture and the two mirrors above each bedside table. Adding colourful curtains, feature cushions and a throw really brought the space to life. As part of the styling, we used freshly ground coffee in the cafetiere on the breakfast tray to create an inviting aroma and ambience in the room, which we hoped would make visitors think of home and comfort.
In the second bedroom we used a gorgeous deep yellow textured wallpaper with a feature round mirror on the main wall. Wall mounted planters with overhanging plants brought a lovely modern touch to the space. While space planning the design, we decided to add a work from home area within this room that would appeal to many potential buyers due to the pandemic.
With our design we targeted a wide range of potential buyers taking COVID into consideration and how people were adapting to work/home life.
